Short answer: Allowed between your own Performance Accounts, all in the same direction. Apex also bans automation, so confirm with Apex support before using any copier.
Apex's copy trading policy
Apex allows copying across Performance Accounts (PAs) held under your personal name and your business name. The hedging rule still applies, so every account must trade in the same direction. Copying trades with other traders is forbidden.
Apex's prohibited activities list also says there is no automation or algorithm usage allowed. Apex documents the Tradovate group trade copier for accounts inside one login, but doesn't say whether a third-party copier counts as automation. If you plan to copy between Apex and another firm, ask Apex support first and keep their answer.

How to copy Apex trades to your other prop firms
Tradovate's built-in group trading only covers accounts inside one Tradovate login, and every prop firm gives you a separate login. To copy between Apex and another firm, you need a copier that works across logins, such as the free Copy Trade for Tradovate Chrome extension:
- Open your Apex Tradovate login in one Chrome tab and your other firm's login in another.
- Set the tab you trade from to Lead and copy its private leader code.
- Set the other tab to Follow, paste the code and choose the account that receives the trades.
- Set the size and max contracts for that account, then test in Dry Run before switching to Live.

Tips to stay within Apex's rules
- Every account must trade the same direction. Never let a follower sit opposite the leader.
- Apex PAs pay out after qualifying days with a 50% consistency rule, so oversized copied days on one account can delay payouts.
- Inside a single Apex login, Tradovate's own group trading may be all you need.
